AUGUST 19 - THE LAUNCH at HINGHAM SHIPYARD WELCOMES A NEW TALBOTS OUTLET STORE!

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT TALBOTS OUTLET STORE WILL BE OPENING TOMORROW - AUGUST 20, 2010 at the HINGHAM SHIPYARD.

After 25 years at Anchor Plaza on Route 3A, the store is moving into a beautiful new space at The Launch at Hingham Shipyard . The new location will offer Talbots merchandise from previous seasons at greatly reduced prices, as well as product specially made for our Upscale Outlet division.

Store officially opens Friday, August 20. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 12 noon to 6 pm.

Shortly before 7pm, 3 black SUVs arrived at Alma Nove to a wild cheer from spectators as Mark emerged from the front SUV. On his way to the red carpet he stopped and greeted fans and signed a few autographs. Once on the red carpet, he took time to speak with the media and pose for pictures. His mother, Alma, greeted him on the red carpet with a hug and a kiss on the cheek...

July 31 - NATIONAL DANCE DAY HAS BOSTON MOVING
HINGHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Seniors and little ones alike were dancing in the streets of Boston on Saturday.

It was all part of a grassroots effort called National Dance Day.

FOX 25 was a proud sponsor of the event at the Hingham Shipyard. The hit Fox show So You Think You Can Dance is in charge, giving the entire nation - young and old - a challenge to get moving!

THE LAUNCH AT HINGHAM SHIPYARD GRAND OPENING

Building on the recent success of performance reality shows, the summer-long Grand Opening celebration will include The Shipyard Sings a cappella series. The series, based on NBC’s popular a cappella competition The Sing-Off, will feature the winners of season one NoTA from Puerto Rico and second-place winners, the Beelzebub’s from Tufts University, with a public on-line competition and live audience votes in July and August.

In addition to The Shipyard Sings series and other musical concerts at The Shipyard, the summer will feature a range of week-end entertainment for families and children, including plenty of food, fun and festivities. And, for the grown-ups, Friday evenings will include meet-ups hosted by meetcha.com, a new online community for singles, and other interactive fun at the many Shipyard restaurants.

A CAPPELLA GROUP NOTA TO PERFORM AND HELP LAUNCH THE SHIPYARD'S SUMMER OF FUN

NoTA, an a cappella group from Puerto Rico, first-season winners of NBC’s hit show The Sing-Off, will come to Hingham to perform for their fans for free on stage by the water. NoTA launches a full summer of The Shipyard Sings series, with an online a capella competition, and semi-finalists performing for the public and a live vote at The Shipyard. The Shipyard Sings series wraps up September 18 with the Beelzebubs from Tufts University, runners-up in The Sing-Off series, plus the winners of the online competition.
